McKee is the analytical powerhouse of the team. Renowned for his outstanding judgment, effective two-way communication, and patience, he partners with clients to help them achieve their goals. Calling upon his tenure in the New York City real estate market, McKee puts his knowledge of the commercial, residential, and rental arenas to work. Maggie is the innovative and creative maven of the group, wielding exceptional drive and national real estate expertise. She excels in high end markets – with experience achieving top-producing sales in the New York City market and showcasing multimillion-dollar properties in the California Lake Tahoe area. Maggie also has an accomplished background in digital advertising and marketing for prominent clients, providing the forward-thinking, tech-savvy, personalized approach needed in today’s competitive environment. 

When Peggy, Maggie, and McKee are not assisting others with their property needs, they enjoy giving back to the community. Peggy has served on the boards of the Stowe Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy of Vermont, and The Current. She is presently an active member of the River Arts board in Morrisville. Maggie served on the North Country Animal League board and is the president on the board of the Clarina Howard Nichols Center. McKee is president of the Stowe Area Association and chairman of the Stowe Historic Preservation Commission. Maggie also has established the Maggie McLeod Macdonald Fund, which donates primarily to charities within Lamoille County. 

In their free time, the Smith Macdonald group loves to partake in the numerous outdoor activities in the area. In the winter, Peggy enjoys trekking the snowy trails on snowshoe, and Maggie and McKee enjoy skiing, including downhill at Stowe, cross-country at Trapps, or skiing off the beaten track in the backcountry. In the summer, Maggie and McKee also like to mountain bike and take in all the beauty of Vermont.
