In 2010, McKee Macdonald united with his mother, Peggy Smith, to establish the Smith Macdonald Group. The synergy was further amplified in 2016 when his sister, Maggie Macdonald, came onboard. Together, this dynamic trio offers over 40 years of combined expertise in the Stowe Area real estate landscape. Their dedication to the venture was underscored in 2020 when McKee and Maggie took the helm by purchasing the business, underscoring their allegiance to their clientele and the community.

Before his return to Stowe in 2010, McKee initiated his real estate journey in 2003 with the Corcoran Group in New York City. During his tenure there, he consistently achieved recognition in the Million Dollar Club and was honored with the title of Vice President, a testament to his prowess in the industry.

A proud native of Stowe, Vermont, McKee's academic journey led him to the University of Denver, where he secured a degree in communication. He then honed his skills at Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations in New York City, followed by a stint with International Sports Broadcasting during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Now, having returned to his roots in Stowe with his wife, Jen, McKee is enthusiastic about the prospect of raising their twin daughters amidst the verdant embrace of the Green Mountains.
