McKee has returned home and joined with his mother Peggy Smith, Owner/Broker, of Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate. Together they have formed the Smith Macdonald Real Estate Group. In 2016 his sister Maggie Macdonald join their ranks. As a team, they bring over 40 years of Stowe Area real estate expertise to every client and customer. In 2020 McKee and Maggie purchased the business from their mother furthering their commitment to the business, their clients, and the community they serve.

A Native Vermonter

McKee was born and raised in Stowe before heading off to earn his degree in communication from the University of Denver. Prior to his career in real estate, he spent time at Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations in New York City and then worked for International Sports Broadcasting at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. McKee and his wife Jen have recently moved back to Stowe and are looking forward to raising their twin girls in the Green Mountains.
