Stowe Farmers Market, Every Sunday, 10:30 AM - 3 PM. The Stowe Farmers Market opened this past Sunday in quite a bit of rain! Located in the Stowedrift field just off the Mountain Road, the Farmer’s Market is open now until October 9th. Stowe Craft Brew Race, May 21, 10 AM. The Stowe Craft Brew Race is a 5K run that starts at the Stoweflake, loops around Cape Cod Road, then back up the bike path ending at the starting line. Runners will then make their way to the brew festival at the Stoweflake events field. Not interested in running, but really interested in BEER? No problem, you can buy tickets to attend the festival only for $55. What makes this event even better? The Stowe Land Trust is the charitable beneficiary of the Stowe Craft Brew Races! Harrison’s Dinner Sponsoring Clarina Howard Nichols Center, May 25. Harrison’s is once again hosting this wonderful fundraiser for the Clarina Howard Nichols Center. CHN works to end domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County by providing advocacy programs, emergency shelter, and support services. Join Harrison’s on May 25th to support the important services CHN provides and to enjoy some great food. Best of Stowe, May 28, 10 AM - 5 PM. Stowe comes alive in spring when Stowe Vibrancy showcases artisan vendors on Main Street in the Village, along with merchants and restaurants throughout the town providing what they do Best in Stowe – exceptional food and spirits and unique Vermont goods – all in a picturesque setting. Wine, dine, sip and enjoy all that Stowe has to offer all day long at the Best of Stowe! In the historic downtown of Stowe on the Village green, you can listen to the sweet sounds of a live music performance, from 2 PM - 5 PM, by internationally recognized artist Ray Vega accompanied by Vermont Jazz Trio. Summer Kick-Off Celebration at Talta Lodge, May 28, 5 PM - 9 PM. Kick-off summer at the Talta Lodge located across from Edson Hill on the Mountain Road. Enjoy live music by the Eames Brothers Band and good eats from Kitsune and the Waffle Wagon. Beverages will be served up by Talta. There are plenty of lawn games to keep everyone entertained. Roots: Wine & Food Event, June 4, 5 PM - 9 PM. Roots is not to be missed! Presented by Cork and Strawberry Hill Farm, this fundraising event will keep you coming back year after year. A casual event hosted in the fields at Strawberry Hill where attendees wander from table to table to sample natural wines and delicious local food. Tickets cost $150, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Vermont Foodbank’s Vermonters Feeding Vermonters program.
